If you would've told me years ago that I'd end up building a real estate business, recording podcasts, helping families relocate to North Carolina, and becoming the person people call during some of the biggest moments of their lives… I probably would've laughed and asked if you needed a refill on sweet tea.

Before real estate, I worked in the service industry, where I learned how to read a room, stay calm under pressure, juggle ten things at once, and make people feel taken care of. Looking back now, it was honestly the perfect training ground for this career.

When my husband first told me I should get my real estate license, I brushed it off. I didn't come from a real estate family. I didn't have a huge network. I had moved from Maine to North Carolina and was still building a life here from scratch. But eventually, I took the leap.

I started my business at the end of 2019, which meant I was brand new when the world basically shut down. While everything felt uncertain, I leaned hard into consistency, relationships, and showing up authentically online. No giant team. No fancy systems. Just a lot of hard work, real conversations, and learning how to connect with people in a way that actually mattered.

Somewhere along the way, this business became so much bigger than houses. Now I get to help families relocate to the Hickory area, guide people through exciting and emotional transitions, advocate fiercely for my clients, and build a business that feels like an extension of who I actually am.
